Hot rolled sheets up to 12 mm thick are manufactured in the form of hot band (from coil), thicker plates from 15 mm up are manufactured by single-sheet rolling (see Quarto rolled).  Hot rolled sheets in 1.4301/1.4307 are available from 2 mm thickness. 

Areas of application:
Hot-rolled sheet with a matter and rougher surface than 2B sheet is primarily used for structural elements in the construction industry, or frequently for kitchen worktops and in container, tank and bridge construction nowadays.

Fix cuts and other dimensions (width / length) are available from servicecenters within 1-2 weeks.
